Meet My Team

Behind every great pet nutrition coach is a team of very opinionated quality control specialists. Meet the four furry members of my household who keep me humble, make me laugh daily, and remind me that every pet has their own unique personality, preferences, and needs.

🐾 Riptide – The OG: Director of Scheduling, Snack Compliance & Lap Quality Assurance

The keeper of the household calendar, Riptide takes his meal and snack schedule very seriously (just ask anyone who has ever been five minutes late).

He has perfected the art of the dramatic head tilt when he hears words like “snack,” “ride,” or “outside,” but don’t be fooled—he prefers the comfort of air conditioning over the “big blue room” (also known as the outdoors) and firmly believes his fluffy feet should remain clean at all times.

His true passion in life is making sure every available lap is properly occupied, preferably in a climate-controlled environment with a snack nearby.

🐾 Penny – Chief Executive Officer & Office Administrator

Don’t let her size fool you—Penny runs a very tight ship.

Her leadership style can best be described as “my way or the highway.” She generally will only listen if addressed as “Ma’am.” She oversees all household decisions, approves (or denies) requests, and makes sure everyone knows exactly who is in charge.

She also knows she has a special place in Dad’s heart and has mastered the art of using that knowledge to her full advantage.

Her favorite time of day is when the spotlight is solely on her and she can sit patiently waiting for her personal anthem, the famous “My Sweetheart Penny Penny” song, to be sung in her honor.

Her favorite phrase is, “Did I say you could go? I don’t remember signing your slip.”

🐾 Lucky – Director of Random Adventures, Athletics & Questionable Decisions

In a previous life, Lucky rocked an iconic Leo & Lucky’s teal mohawk, proving that his personality has always been as big as his hair.

He is my athlete and lives life with only two settings: full speed ahead or completely powered down—there is absolutely no middle gear.

Whether he’s proudly showing off his commands to anyone willing to watch, catching “one hoppers” during a game of ball, or carrying his beloved Fluff & Tuff tiger-print plush bone to help regulate his emotions, Lucky approaches every moment with enthusiasm, confidence, and just a little bit of chaos.

His evenings, however, are reserved for his mandatory massage sessions because every great athlete deserves a proper recovery routine.

His personal motto remains, “I gotta go see a guy about a thing.”

🐾 Jasper – Director of Loyalty & Emotional Support

The sweetest shadow you could ask for, Jasper’s greatest joy is simply being wherever his people are.

His job description is straightforward:

• Follow Dad.
• Be a permanent fixture on the side-by-side.
• Provide unconditional love (especially to Dad).
• Listen for the sound of a treat bag.
• Remind everyone to slow down and enjoy the moment—because naps fix almost everything.

However, his dedication does have limits.

He would follow Patrick to the ends of the earth… unless it’s raining. In that case, he would prefer you handle that whole “going potty” situation another way.

Together, they are my daily reminder that there is no such thing as a “perfect” pet—and that the best care plan is always the one that works for the individual pet and the family who loves them.
